Pretzel Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup room T°C unsalted butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups chopped pretzels
15 Le Caramel sea salt caramels (or any other flavored Le Caramel candies) 1 tbsp coarse sea salt
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven on 400°F
- Mix the butter until smooth in a stand up mixer (with the paddle attachment) 3. Cream the butter with sugars
- Add the eggs and vanilla
- Add powders (flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and salt) and mix on low until just combined
- Fold in chocolate chips and pretzels
- Cut Le Caramel sea salt caramels in half
- Make balls of dough and place them on a lined baking tray
- flat them up with the palm of your hand and place caramels in it 10. Roll the dough balls again
- Bake for 9 to 12 min or until golden on top and bottom
- Let it cool down for 5 min on the baking tray before putting them on a cooling rack
